Falling In Like

Oh Em Gee you guys…I have so much to tell you! I’ve wanted to blog for awhile but I feel like I always get distracted with life and sleeping. I get tired a lot.

I’ve always been a fan of lists (so concise and to the point) so let me list it out for you:

1. Still engaged. Getting married in 12 days. Super stoked, but so ready to be done. I always thought people were stupid for not enjoying their engagement, but turns out it’s way sucky. It’s amazing how much you can fight about a wedding.

2. I was “laid off” from my job. Hey guess what? Getting “laid off” feels exactly the same as getting fired. At first I freaked out cause I have bills and Scott says I need to bring home the bacon*. It’s been a blessing though, I have a new job that’s so far so good…but I’ll post more on that later.

3. I’ve had 3 bridal showers, which were super amazing. I’ve learned that I need to find super awesome friends like my Mom has so they’ll do amazing stuff for my daughters, like throw them wicked awesome bridal showers.

4. I lost 5lbs. Somehow it’s stayed off despite falling off the wagon after 2 weeks of eating grapes and cheese and no Dr. Pepper. I do this 3 to 1 ratio now. 3 parts diet DP to 1 part regular. Probably not effective but yummy none the less.

5. I’ve found some new blogs I like and have stopped reading others. I like to feel positive and it’s annoying when people are only sad and talk about their problems. I like it sometimes so you can empathize. Hell, I’ve done it. But not all the time. Just add smiley faces sometimes and that fixes everything,  i.e., I ran over a puppy yesterday**

I’m sure other things have happened. Oh, like my sister’s stupid dog attacking my face every morning while she was here…I’ll be ready next time (cough *taser* cough). Also, school starts next week. Groan. Uh, but that’s it. Will write soon maybe hopefully probably not

*Sometimes I make things up that Scott says.

**That didn’t happen…but even if it did the smiley face makes it ok.
